Today, the election petition for a court in Ado Ekiti State that elections are conducted in the Federal constituency of Ekiti State central II will be conducted. The Court, presided over by Justice Patrick Uhuo, in a unanimous judgment on 21 September the independent National Electoral Commission was held (INEC) in violation of the electoral law 2010 (as amended) by removing the name and logo of National transformation Party (NTP) in the ballots used for elections to the National Assembly, April 26, 2011. The petition filed by candidates for NTP, Mr Peter Bamigbade.
The winner of the election and candidate of the action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Mr. Oyetunji Ojo, held at the Court of appeal decision of the Tribunal and on November 17, a court in split decision, upheld the judgment. It ordered the INEC in order to do another election within 90 days as the lower courts have been held. Chief Judge in the Court of appeal, Justice Sotonye Denton-West, pass judgement minority, while Tom Yakubu and justice Ogbuniya Justice upheld the ruling of the Court Obande was lower.
